Light has a motivating effect. With respect to this hypothesis, Dominik Grzelak (IoSense) and René Schöne (OpenLicht) presented a software-based approach for managing complex sensor networks to realise person-dependent light control systems. The lighting demonstrator was shown at the 3rd 5G Summit, in a joint undertaking. This year, the event took place September 25, 2018, in Dresden and was jointly organised by 5G Lab Germany and IEEE. Three parallel tracks showed highly innovative applications ranging from hardware and wireless to network and cloud, and tactile internet applications.
