Erwin Schoitsch from Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT) has presented IoSense poster at AIT booth at SAFECOMP 2018 in Västeras, Sweeden 18.-21.9.2018. IoSense was also mentioned in his presentation at SAFECOMP of AIT among other ECSEL projects, in the overview on the exposition booths. .
The University of Klagenfurt and Infineon Technologies Austria have in cooperation developed a toolbox to enable easy modelling and calculations for applying uncertain parameters. The tooling is implemented object oriented and uses operator overloading to simplify working with uncertainties in the MATLAB toolset which is well known by many design engineers and system architects. Light has a motivating effect. With respect to this hypothesis, Dominik Grzelak (IoSense) and René Schöne (OpenLicht) presented a software-based approach for managing complex sensor networks to realise person-dependent light control systems. The lighting demonstrator was shown at the 3rd 5G Summit, in a joint undertaking. This year, the event took place September 25, 2018, in Dresden and was jointly organised by 5G Lab Germany and IEEE. Three parallel tracks showed highly innovative applications ranging from hardware and wireless to network and cloud, and tactile internet applications.
