After four years of ECSEL (Electronic Components and Systems for European Leadership) the congress “ECSEL Germany” invited for an interim review as well as an outlook to Dresden, September 5-6. A mix of high-level keynotes, highlight presentations and interactive formats made an impressive event showcasing the landscape of European projects.
“The European microelectronics industry is stronger together”, in his keynote Infineon CEO Reinhard Ploss highlighted the importance of cooperation for future innovation in Europe. “Competence is key to technological sovereignty”, Twitter Infineon Technologies AG.
Bert De Colvenaer, Executive Director of the ECSEL Joint Undertaking, presented an interim reflection and perspectives of the programm. Current European projects, their objectives and results were highlighted. IoSense coordinator,
IoSense Coordinator Dr. Oliver Pyper, Infineon Technologies Dresden, talked about the project, its challenges and the progress, cooperation activities and highlights in a Pecha-Kucha-style presentation. Furthermore, IoSense was exhibited in the poster area together with the IoSense demonstrator “FiDuSense” (link to FiDuSens news).
